Customer Service Agent

Our Recycling Business Unit currently has a need for a Customer Service Advisor on a permanent basis. This role will be based in Donore, Drogheda and will report to the Customer Relations Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for Executing excellent customer service in line with the company’s best practices, policies and procedures.

The Role:

The main duties and responsibilities of the role will include the following:

  • Handle all inbound calls with excellent standard of customer services.
  • Report customer complaints and pass on customer comments to manager so that improvements and/or changes or new services can be developed.
  • Liaise with others as required to ensure open communication to enable efficient service delivery. Record and process information to agreed standards. 
  • Maintain Ownership of calls throughout the lifecycle of the Callers request
  • Handle communications via Email from Customers
  • Meet Daily, Weekly & Monthly activity targets set for Service, productivity and quality.
  • Maintain weekly reports to assist in timely management of skip ordering . Assist in the  managaging of commercial enquires , sales enquiries .
  • All employees are expected to co-operate fully with all provisions taken by the company for ensuring Health and Safety, and Welfare of co-employees and members of the public.
  • Act professionally and courteously with all colleagues and members of the public.

 

The Person:

  • The ideal candidate will possess the following qualification, skills, knowledge and attributes;
  • Minimum 1 years significant Customer Service / Waste Industry
  • Good systems knowledge to include Microsoft office.
  • Good Written and Verbal English essential.
  • Proficiency in the English language is a requirement alongside eligibility to work in Ireland.
  • Team player with ability to work on own initiative.
  • Experience in the waste industry a distinct advantage
