Organic bin

AES currently offer an organic bin collection service across many towns and counties.

We provide our residential customers with a 140 Litre organic wheelie bin which is collected by a dedicated collection truck or a split compartment truck to ensure complete segregation of waste streams. Please check out our organic collection calendars for details of collection days in your area.

To date in areas with a residential organic bin collection service, the amount of waste being collected from green general waste bins has reduced by 23%. This has helped to reduce our customers’ carbon footprint by the equivalent of half the carbon emissions of a family car for a year.
