The Catex Show was on in the RDS Dublin on the 8th, 9th & 10th February and along with exhibiting at this prestigious event AES were awarded the waste management contract for the show. We set ourselves a challenge to recycle 95% of all waste generated to aide diversion from landfill.
Catex, Ireland’s largest trade exhibition for the catering, hospitality and food service industry returned to Dublin’s RDS. Since its inception back in 1965, Catex has developed into much more than just a trade exhibition, it is a mirror into the industry. More than ever Catex helps food service and allied sectors meet today’s challenges, reflecting current and future trends in a vibrant and exciting three-day extravaganza of product launches, demonstrations, national competitions, debate and most importantly the face-to-face opportunity to understand the needs of many market sectors.
To achieve 95% recycling AES asked all exhibitors and visitors to segregate their waste into a four bin system strategically placed around the arena and encouraged everyone to embrace this recycling ethos.
Along with this recycling ethos AES were available on Exhibition stand, G 9 where a member of the Commercial Sales Team was on hand to answer and queries or questions that anyone had.
