At AES, we’ve spent a long time analysing our customers by the sectors they come from. We bring our industry specific and cost conscious expertise to the public sector too. Along with many of the country’s county councils and local authorities, AES provides waste management expertise for An Garda Siochana, Irish Rail and the Revenue Commissioners office.

An Garda Siochana HQ With its industry specific focus, AES has dramatically increased the amount of waste recycled by An Garda Siochana HQ. AES and Bord na Mona put in new user-friendly systems and protocols which allowed An Garda Siochana to reduce their waste output, minimise their Carbon footprint and reduce landfill.

Irish Rail AES was awarded the contract for the entire railway network in Ireland, in another vote of confidence in its ability to drive down costs and deliver top-class service to a large client with varied needs across existing sites. As part of the contract, AES undertook to recycle 70% of all waste deposited in bins at Iarnrod Eireann railway stations. Branded labelling was applied to all the bins to explain the initiative to passengers.
